Friday night will be set up, and a pot luck. Please bring a dish with approximately 10 to 15 servings. Our only communicated restriction is no shrimp. The cost of the exercise is $25, as we have mentioned. Cash is preferred and can be collected at tomorrow's meeting, checks are acceptable. There are two forms attached in the e-mail from Lt. Johnson, the permission slip and a medication form for Over the Counter Medication. If you are sending Benedryl or Asprin or some other form of OTC Medication, or are comfortable with us giving the listed medicines to your cadet in the appropriate situation, please indicate this on the form.
Lastly, your cadet may participate in the event, HOWEVER both their GES 116 test must be complete AND their FAMPREP in order to be signed off on any of our GTM3 tasks. Only those who attain the qualifications can be activated for real-world missions or attend more advanced trainings. GES 116 can be found on eServices > Online Training > Absorb LMS. FAMPREP can be taken here:
Any gaps will try to be addressed on Friday night IF POSSIBLE.
Parents, if you would like to assist in helping cook food on Saturday, and/or Sunday morning, please let me know as soon as possible.
As a further reminder, cadets will need to wear their ABUS, have their 24 hour pack, hydration, CAP ID, required forms, tent and sleeping bag. We may have a few extra sleeping bags and a tent, so if needed we can assist but we will need to know ahead of time.
Thank you, we look forward to this event and qualifying our cadets for Ground Team missions.
Respectfully,
